What Is Asset Management?

Asset Management Companies are established in accordance with the Regulation on the Establishment and Operations of Asset Management Companies promulgated by the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency in the Official Gazette dated 1 October 2002 and numbered 24893 within the scope of the Law on Restructuring of Debts to Financial Sector numbered 4743.

They are companies established to carry out transactions to restructure debt files received from banks and other financial institutions and of which they become legal owners by finding common ground with debtors within the framework of mutual trust and understanding.

Operations of Asset Management Companies are regulated and audited by the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BRSA) within the framework of the Banking Law.
